Hiroshima and Nagasaki
During the end of the World War II in 1945 the United States droped atomic bombs in the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan. Six monthes before this event the United States had been fireing bombs to a bunch of the Japan cities. 4 months into the bombing they had killed around 166,000 in Hiroshima and 80,000 in Nagasaki. All of this happened because the Untied States, United Kingdom and the Republic of China, who were teamed up at the time, called for Japan to surrender in the Potsdam Declaration on July 26, 1945. But Japan just ignored this and so U.S. dropped the bombs.
